April 15th is as memorable as most Holidays as it is embedded in us that we need to have our taxes filed, paid and/or extension filed by that date.
Thanks to the 15th being a Saturday taxes are due the next business day, only the next business day in Washington, DC is April 18th. Washington D.C. Emancipation Day is observed April 17th, thus Our taxes are due April 18th, for most taxpayers.
